Meet Sueli
Sue is a second year Graphic Design - Digital Media student. She has loved playing with colours and designs since she was a child. She wanted to choose a career path that blended creativty and real-world experience - and that's what led her to graphic design.
As a child, Sue was inspired by shapes in the sky that led her to draw how she saw the world. Wherever she goes, she sees things around her that other people may overlook - like fonts in signage and shapes in architecture.
Meet Maddie
Maddie is a first year student of the Graphic Design - Digital Media advanced diploma program. Growing up, art wasn't a big interest, but graphic design led her to seeing things from a different perspective and sparked her interest in pursuing this field, thanks to the support of a teacher.
No matter where Maddie goes, she finds herself noticing and breaking down the logos, posters, and ads she sees around her. Her attention to detail influences her own designs, guiding her choices in her future design work.
Meet Kaylan
Kaylan is a first year Graphic Design - Digital Media student. Her interest in graphic design began after taking a yearbook class in high school and impacted her creativity and focus on design.
She feels more in tune with designs around her since finding her love of graphic design. Kaylan catches herself being inspiration by so much of what she sees which shapes her decisions on design, layout, and font.
Meet Aurora
Aurora is a first year Digital Film Production student. Her love of film stemmed from movie nights with her grandparents and exploring behind the scenes. In grade 12, Aurora's volunteer experience with Rogers gave her first-hand experience and exposure to those in the industry, influencing her decision to choose a path to a career in film production.
She loves learning about all elements of a film and how it has changed how she sees the world around her and analyzes the details of every shot in a story.
