Overview
間眅埶AV is temporarily suspending new intakes of this program for the 2025 / 2026 Academic Year. The program is still running for all in-progress students. This program may be reinstated in a future Academic Year.
In this one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate program, students will develop a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of climate change and how it impacts the natural environment. Graduates will be able to conduct change analysis and risk assessment and will be able to apply mitigative and adaptive strategies to deal with climate change challenges.
Courses
Requirements & Program Information
Completion of a 2-year diploma, advanced diploma or degree.
Applicants, whose first language is not English, must provide proof of English proficiency. 間眅埶AV accepts the TOEFL, or IELTS, or equivalent test to satisfy our English admission requirements.
Educational Paths
Graduates of 間眅埶AV diploma programs in the School of Natural Environment and Outdoor Studies may choose to advance into this one-year graduate certificate. Diploma offerings include Fish and Wildlife Conservation Technician, Forestry Conservation Technician, and Natural Environment Technician.
Career Path
Graduates are employed by federal, provincial and municipal governments, computer and office furniture manufacturers, educational institutions, research organizations, consulting firms, environmental and conservation organizations, or they may be self-employed.
